Actually, he's pulling a two-wheeled cart (sort of like a rickshaw.) It's very common to see them, loaded down with everything from garbage to cardboard boxes or anything else. No idea what is on this one! And yes, they are pulled by hand through the busy city streets, probably much like they were 100s of years ago. It was the contrast with the skyscrapers and all the buses that really got my attention - took this with my phone whilst waiting for my bus (the green one, coming up behind him!)
